This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at tadesign.in, how we use that information, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit our contact form, request a style profile via Discover Your Style, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message or enquiry

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and third-party analytics providers (see below) automatically collect:

  • Pages viewed, time spent, navigation paths
  • Device, browser, operating system, screen size
  • Approximate location (country / city, derived from IP address)
  • Referring website, if any

Photos added to the Style Tool

Our Discover Your Style tool may ask you to choose a selfie for colour analysis. This photo is read and processed entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API. It is never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never shared with anyone. When you close or reload the page, the photo is gone from our systems because it never reached our systems in the first place.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request
  • To send you the style profile or report you have requested
  • To understand how our website is used (anonymous, aggregated)
  • To improve our services and content
  • To send you membership-related communications if you become a member

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

Legal basis (DPDP Act)

We process your personal information based on your consent, which you provide when you submit a form or use a tool on this website. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@tadesign.in.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses the following analytics tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) — measures page views and visitor behaviour. Google may transfer data outside India.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (provided by Cloudflare, Inc.) — privacy-friendly traffic analytics, does not use cookies.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics (provided by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd.) — cookieless analytics.

On your first visit, you will see a brief cookie notice. By continuing to use the site, you consent to the cookies described above. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer; the website will continue to work.

Third parties who process data on our behalf

  • Web3Forms — processes our contact form submissions and forwards them to our email.
  • Vercel — hosts our website and serves it to your browser.
  • Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Ahrefs — analytics described above.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and complies with applicable data-protection laws.

Data retention

We retain your contact-form submissions and style-profile data for as long as is reasonably needed to respond to you and continue any service relationship — typically 24 months, unless you request earlier deletion. Analytics data is anonymised and retained per the respective provider's settings.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate information
  • Erase your data, where lawful
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India

Security

We use reasonable security practices to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all traffic between you and our website. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
